The homeowners found this 1910 single-family home on Craigslist — yes, that Craigslist. They moved into a builder-basic renovation with zero personality and wanted a space that felt connected to their Brooklyn roots. We reimagined the interior through color, art, and thoughtful finishing: a historic-inspired paint palette, curated furniture and artwork, acoustic slat accents, and space-optimizing organization. The result is a warm, grounded home with character, contrast, and a distinctly styled point of view. Licensed trade partners completed any required HVAC and electrical upgrades.

After two insurance events left the kitchen unusable, the homeowners chose to redesign rather than repair. We handled the demolition, replaced the faucet and under-sink plumbing, installed the dishwasher, and completed cabinet hardware updates. We then directed the design while licensed trade partners completed electrical, tilework, and other regulated scopes. The new kitchen blends natural oak cabinetry, open shelving, and warm lighting in a layout tailored for everyday life. The bathroom refresh features an Anthropologie vanity, timeless tilework, and a layout optimized for a calm, work-from-home lifestyle.
